Weeks 9–12
Weeks 9-12
Edgyr has now completed the last large wall, the stairs, and the gutter in the children's pool. This means that the major casting work is now complete—a real milestone in the construction process! We have also installed the five large sand filters in the water treatment plant. This required both precision and skill, but now they are ready to ensure clear and clean water in our pools.
Steuler has been working flat out and has now installed the two large circulation pumps, which will drive a full 570 m³ of pool water per hour through the purification system. In addition, the large pipes connecting the filters and pumps have been installed, and work on refining the entire system is continuing at a rapid pace.
All necessary holes have been drilled in the concrete walls, enabling Steuler to pull the last pipes through inside the building.
Our new water treatment control system (VR2) is well on its way! It will give us total control, overview, and alarm functions, ensuring that water quality is always at its best.
Outdoor work is also progressing – more and more pipes have been installed and connected the pool area to the water treatment plant. At the same time, groundwork is underway on the south side of the pools, where a three-meter-high stone wall is now taking shape. This wall will extend around strandpoolen on toward the pool kiosk, creating a lovely frame for the area.
Finally, we have also made great progress on the attractions! Production is in full swing, and Konstgjorda Naturmiljöer (Artificial Natural Environments) is in its workshop building frames for the spectacular rock formations. These will soon be assembled on site and covered with artificial concrete to create a truly amazing environment for our visitors.
