Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about your visit to Leksand Sommarland.

What is included in the admission ticket?

The entrance ticket to Sommarland includes all attractions and activities except Zipline, which costs 120 SEK per ride. Everything else is completely free, and you can ride and play as much as you want.

Do accompanying persons have to pay admission?

Guests with disabilities pay the regular admission price, but companions or assistants to guests with physical or hidden disabilities are admitted free of charge. Companions must be at least 16 years of age and able to present identification in combination with an assistance certificate/certificate of approved accompaniment for the guest with a disability issued by the municipality or Social Insurance Agency. Family members and friends pay the regular admission price. What does Fast Track mean for the attractions?

With a Fast Track ticket, you get priority access to some of our most popular attractions: Wipeout, Chain Flyer, Drop'n Twist, Radio Cars, and Lazertag. The Fast Track wristband costs 110 SEK per person and is collected at the entrance when you arrive at the park. 

Fast Track gives you the right to skip the line at selected attractions once per hour, using the special Fast Track entrance that is clearly marked at each attraction. 

Please note that each attraction has a limited number of Fast Track spots per ride, which means that some waiting time may occur even with Fast Track or an accessibility wristband—especially on busy days. 

Do you have lifeguards at the water park at Leksand Sommarland?

Of course, we have lifeguards on site. Their job is to ensure that everything runs smoothly at the water park. Always follow the instructions of the staff to ensure a safe swimming experience. All lifeguards are trained in CPR – but remember that you, as the guardian, are responsible for your children.

What clothes can I swim in?

At Vattenlandet in Leksands Sommarland, you may only swim in regular swimwear. The youngest visitors children must wear swim diapers. Please note that the pool closes at 5:30 p.m. during high season. 

How warm is the water in the pools and water park at Leksand Sommarland?

Since 2025, the pools at Leksands Sommarland water park have always been kept at 28 degrees!

Can I leave Summerland temporarily?

Yes. Tell our reception staff and you will receive a return ticket before you leave the park. 

Is it possible to barbecue at Leksand Sommarland?

No, unfortunately. Due to the risk of fire, there is a ban on open fires throughout the park. Instead, bring a picnic if you want to eat your own food, or buy food on site at one of our restaurants or kiosks.

Can I rent a wheelchair?

Yes, wheelchairs are available for hire at the service desk inside the entrance. If there are a lot of people at Summerland, the wheelchairs run out quickly, so make sure you get there in good time. The price is 80 SEK. 

Are there any lockers available for rent?

Yes, we have around 600 lockers in the park where you can store valuables or small luggage next to the water park. These are approximately 25×35×55 cm (WxHxD). Rent a key at the service unit inside the entrance. The price is 60 SEK. 

What if I have general questions upon arrival at Leksand Sommarland?

If you have any questions, comments, or need information, you are welcome to visit our Service Unit. You will find it  inside the entrance. We will help you with everything you need to know about Leksand Sommarland. 

What happens if my child gets lost?

The park is quite large, and sometimes people get separated from each other. One tip is to decide on a meeting place at the beginning of your visit where you can gather if you happen to lose each other, preferably at the entrance. At the entrance plaza, there are contact bracelets where you can write your mobile number.  

If your child gets lost, you can contact any member of staff. If necessary, we will help by making an announcement over the loudspeakers, which can be heard throughout the central areas of Leksand Sommarland. 

What if I lose my valuables?

Lost property should be handed in to the service unit just inside the entrance. 

Valuables are collected by staff after closing time each evening and stored throughout the summer in the service unit. If you are missing something, you can contact the service unit the following day by emailing lost@leksandsommarland.se and describing the item. We normally respond to emails during Leksand Sommarland's opening hours. You can also visit the service unit when you leave and give a description directly to the staff. We will contact you if the item is found. 

If you would like us to send a found item of value to your home, there will be an additional charge of 300 SEK. 

Other items – such as clothing, towels, and other items that are not considered valuables – are placed in a collection box in the entrance hall of the service unit. There, you can look for any items you are missing. The box is emptied and cleaned regularly as needed. 

Do you have changing tables, nursing rooms, and other facilities for infants?

Changing tables are available in connection with certain toilets, scattered throughout Leksand Sommarland; see the symbol on the park map. A nursing room with a changing table is available in the entrance area. A microwave is available in the nursing room.

What if I hurt myself?

Our first aid station is located at the kiosk in the water park. Trained personnel are on hand to help with minor cuts and other injuries. 
In the event of a serious injury, always call 112 and contact the nearest staff member. 

We are committed to documenting all injuries that occur atLeksand Sommarland.
Therefore, always visit the infirmary if an injury occurs so that the incident can be recorded and followed up. 

Can I bring pets to Leksand Sommarland?

Pets such as dogs are not allowed at Leksand Sommarland. However, guide dogs are allowed upon presentation of a valid certificate. Please note that the park is a lively environment with high noise levels. Please also note that it is not appropriate to leave animals in the car on a hot summer day.
We have a partnership with Lotta's Lya, which offers dog sitting during your visit to Leksand Sommarland. This allows you to enjoy the park while your dog is safe and comfortable in a quiet environment.

Can I bring my own alcohol to Leksand Sommarland?

Bringing your own alcohol is not permitted at Sommarland. We sell alcohol – wine and beer – in our restaurants Bäverhyddan, Ciao Billy, and Grillhuset. Please note that alcoholic beverages are not allowed to leave the serving area.  

Am I permitted to smoke at Sommarland?

To enhance comfort, we have smoking area at Sommarland. The smoking area is located directly below the entrancesquare and is marked on the park map.

What am I not allowed to bring into the park?

For safety reasons, pets, kickbikes, skateboards, inline skates, bicycles, and other motorized or electric vehicles are not permitted in Leksand Sommarland. Medical aids prescribed by healthcare professionals are, of course, exempt and may be brought into the park. 

Inflatable water toys are welcome down by Lake Siljan, but for safety reasons they are not allowed in our pools. An exception is made for small inflatable flotation devices, which may be used in the pool area.

All types of weapons are prohibited in the park.

Can I pay with cash?

Since summer 2020, Leksand Sommarland has been Leksand Sommarland cash-free. You can pay with a debit card.

At what age can my children enter Sommarland without their parents?

We recommend that children visiting Leksand Sommarland without their parents are at least 12 years old. This assumes that the child can swim, can follow instructions, and understands the risks involved in an adventure park.

There are areas in the park where the risk of injury may be higher, and we therefore prefer that parents accompany their children or at least talk to them about the risks involved before letting them enter on their own. 

If your child visits Sommarland without an accompanying adult, they must have access to your contact details so that we can reach you if necessary. 

Do we need to bring our own helmets for the BMX bikes, etc.?

At Leksand Sommarland helmets in various sizes that you can borrow. We also have knee and elbow pads for BMX bikes that you can borrow.

Does Leksand Sommarland close Leksand Sommarland do the attractions close when it rains?

Leksand Sommarland open regardless of the weather. In the event of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and/or strong winds, parts of the park or certain attractions may be temporarily closed for the safety of our guests. Most of the park can still be enjoyed even when it rains – just bring appropriate clothing. Umbrellas and ponchos are available for purchase on site, subject to availability.

How much does it cost to enter Leksand Sommarland?

Children under 1 meter tall always have free admission to Leksand Sommarland. 

1-day ticket – 495 SEK
2-day ticket – 815 SEK
3-day ticket – 998 SEK
Senior (65+) 1-day ticket – 335 SEK
Senior (65+) 2-day ticket – 485 SEK 

Children under 1 meter tall will be measured at the entrance, and valid ID must be presented when purchasing a senior ticket.

What is the name of Leksand Sommarland's mascot?

Leksand Sommarland's mascot is called Billy Beaver, and you can meet him every day at the amusement park.

 

Billy's friend Yessi can also often be seen visiting the park. Maybe they'll get up to some mischief today?

Can I buy a senior ticket as an early retiree/disability pensioner?

Early retirees and disability pensioners are entitled to purchase senior tickets upon presentation of their pension or disability certificate and valid ID.

What is included when I book a cabana at Leksand Sommarland?

When you book a cabana, you get access to your own private pavilion measuring approximately 3×3 meters—perfect for a comfortable and relaxing day at the water park. 

  • Each cabana is equipped with:
    A wooden roof, two fixed side walls, and two open sides
  •  2 sun loungers for relaxation
  • 1 table and 4 chairs
  • 1 refrigerator for your own drinks and snacks
  • 1 storage box (25×35×55 cm) located adjacent to the cabana area 

Cabanas must be booked online and are available in limited numbers. Upon arrival, show your cabana ticket at the service desk, where you will receive a wristband that gives you access to the cabana area and a key to your storage box. 

The cabin provides you with your own space to rest in the shade, store your belongings safely, and enjoy the day in peace and quiet. 

How much does parking cost at Leksand Sommarland?

There is a large car park directly adjacent to the park, which costs 80 SEK per day. You can pay easily by scanning one of the car park's QR codes or via the MobilPark app. If you prefer to pay by card, there is also a ticket machine. 

Caravans, motorhomes, and buses pay 80 SEK and are directed to park at the top of the parking lot. Follow the signs on site. 

Disabled parking is available directly adjacent to the entrance, and the permit must be displayed visibly in the windshield. 

The parking lot also has parking spaces with charging stations for electric cars.

If you have an annual pass, you can always park for free and pick up a parking permit at the service unit inside Leksand Sommarland time you visit. 

The parking lot at Leksand Sommarland open every day between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Outside these hours, parking is prohibited, and the area is patrolled at night by our night staff to ensure safety and order. An exception applies to our electric car charging parking lot, which is open 24 hours a day. 

Can I provide feedback or receive assistance during my visit?

Of course! We want your visit to Sommarland to be as enjoyable as possible and always appreciate it when you let us know if something isn't quite right. 

Please let us know immediately so that we can quickly assist you and make your visit as pleasant as possible while you are still here. 

Our service desk in the entrance hall is staffed by personnel who are happy to assist you and, if necessary, can put you in touch with a supervisor. We are here to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable day with us.  

Where can I charge my electric car?

There is parking for electric carswith with 20 charging stations managed via chargenodes app.  

Can I rent a wetsuit from you?

Yes, we rent wetsuits for both children and adults. You can rent a wetsuit for one, two, or three days, depending on your needs. 

Rental is handled by the service unit at the entrance plaza and cannot be pre-booked, but is subject to availability on site.
